In an off market deal we negotiated terms for the acquisition of this prominent 6 acre employment site on the Kingskerswell by - pass between Torbay and Newton Abbot. The site had planning consent for employment uses and with limited land supply in Newton Abbott there was huge latent demand for small industrial units.
The site was a perfect fit for the Onyx Business Units concept which had at that point been tested successfully at Skypark in Exeter.
Terms were agreed to purchase the site and the land transaction completed very quickly.
Approximately half of the 6 acre site was forward sold to Bowa Medical Uk who will relocate there to a new facility once built. The balance of the site has been built out as small business units which have been fully let or sold to owner occupiers or investors.
Subsequently Onyx have expanded their SW activities with developments at Roundswell in Barnstaple Wellington at Junction 26 and Spypark Phase 2.
