Joint Ventures or Partnerships are often the best way of bringing forward development and adding value to landowner assets with matching development skills and funding.
This was what we achieved for Exeter FC. Advising the Football Club Andrew brought together Exeter City Council and preferred developer, Yelverton Properties, to deliver a new student housing development which funded two new stands and other improvements for the Club. Complicated by third party ownerships which were bought in has resulted in some great new facilities for the Club.
Andrew has advised on a number of other strategic development sites in the SW which have brought together landowners and developers, including:
Skypark – a 100 acre mixed use Business Park in a Joint Venture between Devon CC and St Modwen Plc
Exeter Science Park – a 75 acre land acquisition for Devon County Council and other Stakeholders and Joint Venture of Phase 1 with Eagle One
White Rock Business Park Paignton – a 500,000 sq ft mixed use business park in a Joint Venture with Deeley Freed
The Senate and Senate Court – a 100,000 sq ft office development in the heart of Exeter in a Joint Venture with SDG
